ALEX ORIGINAL, formed in 1959, started their journey by creating the first power steering known in the world for trucks and buses named the “Pneumatic Power Steering System”.
This first innovation gained them worldwide recognition. From these fledgeling beginnings, the business began work on air conditioning units. In 1979, they developed automotive air conditioning for cars at a time when the air conditioning in cars was non-existent.
Fast forward to the year 2000 and the business had grown substantially, developing an endless range of air conditioning units and transport refrigeration systems for commercial vehicles and buses across the world.
With over 60 years of experience in the automotive industry, ALEX ORIGINAL creates easy to install, innovative designs. Today, ALEX ORIGINAL specialises in complete transport refrigeration systems and units from wall and roof, underfloor and multi-temperature systems to evaporators, evaporators with heating and roof condensers. As well as air conditioning for Minibus A/C Rooftop, Front A/C units and Electric systems.
